Duration: 6 MonthsWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Machinist / Tool Maker to join our precision engineering team on a six-month temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex aerospace manufacturing projects in a fast-paced and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual machine tools, including Jig Bores, lathes, and mills.Interpret and work from complex aerospace engineering drawings and specifications.Produce and rework components to tight tolerances and surface finishes.Perform in-process inspection using precision instruments (e.g., micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTIs).Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery.Accurately complete production and quality documentation.Comply with all company health & safety and quality assurance procedures.Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to meet design and customer standards.Required Skills & ExperienceProven background as a Manual Machinist or Tool Maker in a precision engineering or aerospace setting.Experience working with a range of materials and castings, particularly steels and aluminium.
