HGV Mechanics RequiredRegion: Stoke-on-TrentPay Rate - depending on experiencePermanent Position after 12 weeksKey role and responsibilities for Mechanic
  • Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet
  • Vehicle inspections
  • MOT prep/ presentation
  • VOSA / DVLA paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online R2C systems
  • Diagnosis and rectification
  • Safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all times
  • Good mechanical understanding
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Valid Class B, B1 Driving licence required - C+E would also be advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Functional IT knowledge beneficial
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industry
Working hours are:
Monday to Friday
7.30 till 16.30
early finish on fridaysOvertime Paid as:
X1.33 Monday to Friday
X1.5 Saturdays
