Pay: £13.75 per hour (paid weekly)We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Preston. This role will be working with a Year 3 class, providing general classroom support across Key Stage 2 to help pupils achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.Provide 1:1 and small group support in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects.Assist with classroom management, organisation, and displays.Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and progress.Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion for all pupils.Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.Requirements:Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (or childcare-related equivalent).Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and strategies to support learning.Experience of working with pupils in Key Stage 2 is desirable.A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.Able to work well as part of a team and follow school policies.This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified TA with strong KS2 knowledge who is looking to make an immediate impact in a friendly and supportive school.To apply, please submit your CV today – interviews and trial days will be arranged immediately for suitable candidates.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
