  • Inspire and guide a Key Stage 1 class, fostering essential skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
  • Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and provide effective pastoral care, identifying any safeguarding concerns promptly.
  • Deliver creative and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in all pupils.
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to support children's individual progress.
  • Uphold and promote high standards of teaching, behaviour, and professionalism.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Enthusiastic about teaching and supporting children in the early years of their education.
  • Confident in delivering phonics, early reading, and early maths.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to meet the varied needs of young learners.
  • Strong communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passionate, nurturing, and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.
