Salaried GP 6 sessions per week - Maternity cover for 12 monthsCranleigh Gardens Medical centre is part of the Bridgwater PCN We are looking for a salaried GP to join our welcoming, hardworking, and forward-thinking team.Pay will be competitive: Portfolio Working: Blocked Admin Time: 6 weeks holiday: 1 week study leave: Indemnity (the extra costs on top of crown is fully paid by the practice)Salaried GP 4 - 6 sessions per weekWe are looking for a committed, enthusiastic individual who is proactive and well organised. They will need to be passionate about delivering high standards of patient care. We provide daily ongoing peer support and case based discussion; and each month we have clinical educational meetings. The main responsibilities of the role include:Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence in a timely manner.Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problemsAssessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problemsScreening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illnessDeveloping care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocolsRecording clear consultation notes to agreed standardsCollecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirementsAll general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.About usCranleigh Gardens Medical Centre is a dynamic and supportive practice serving a diverse population of 14,100 patients.
