- Designing, prototyping, and iterating on levels that deliver tension, atmosphere, and engaging co-op gameplay
- Collaborating with art and concept teams to translate visual ideas into functional, believable, and iconic playable spaces
- Owning the implementation of levels to ensure pacing, flow, and technical requirements align with creative direction
- Integrating environmental storytelling and lore in partnership with the narrative team
- Participating in playtests, refining gameplay through level adjustments, and ensuring smooth player experiences
- Maintaining existing levels by resolving navigation, interaction, collision, and performance issues
- Contributing to the creative vision of new titles currently in development
- 4+ years of professional experience in level design with at least one shipped commercial game
- Strong understanding of player flow, spatial design, pacing, and gameplay readability
- Proven ability to design first-person environments that support tension, exploration, and immersion
- Awareness of performance considerations across a wide range of hardware and platforms
- Skilled in grey boxing, white boxing, and iterative design based on feedback
- Experience working with Unity
- A keen eye for detail and visual composition in level layouts
- Passion for horror games and systemic, emergent gameplay
- Eligibility to work in the UK, with driving ability highly recommended due to office location
