- Develop knowledge of existing developments in, quality, health and safety and environmental legislation, directives, standards and / or practices as appropriate.
- Provide health and safety and environmental support as required to assist the implementation of HSE policies and requirements.
- Support the HSE team to progress toward HSE targets and objectives.
- Support the review and update Company health and safety and environmental system documentation. ensuring compliance with legislation, HSES Policy, ISM Code, ISO 14001 and Corporate Standards and Guidelines.
- A good foundation of education, or Higher National Diploma level, or equivelent technical or practical experience.
- Intermediate level experience of working with MS Offices software.
- Previous experience of formal Quality, Environmental or Safety Management Systems and Procedures in adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974, the ISM Code or similar.
- Reasonable experience with providing support to operational teams or workforce.
- Relevant technical training in health and safety and environmental management and / or National recognised qualification in occupational health and safety management.
- Working in an operational or safety-based capacity on-site or for an operational environment.
