LOCATIONS: Leeds or Bristol
WORKING PATTERN: We work in a hybrid style, spending at least two days per week (or 40% of time) in one of our office locations.We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and forward-thinking Head of People to partner the Chief Operating Office (COO) in Business & Commercial Banking (BCB).Job DescriptionWhy Lloyds Banking Group?This is a pivotal time to join us.   • Act as a trusted advisor to the BCB Chief Operating Officer and leadership team, building strong, collaborative relationships and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Serve on both the BCB COO Leadership Team and the BCB People Leadership Team, directing a team of HR Business Partners.
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence to deliver transformative change across organisation design, agile working, automation, AI, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Lead on major initiatives including business model evolution, mergers, acquisitions, and service expansion.
  • Align people and business plans across People & Places, Group, and external forums including regulatory bodies.
  • Shape and embed policy changes, covering culture, reward, workforce planning, and future ways of working.
  • Drive delivery of key projects that support our Group-wide transformation and customer relationship strategy.
  • Provide leadership on complex employee relations matters and risk management, working closely with our Group People Operations team.
  • Use data and insight to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions that support business outcomes.
What we’re looking forWe’re seeking a senior HR leader with:
  • Extensive experience in strategic HR and business partnering at executive level.
  • A proven track record in performance, talent, SWP, Operating Model design and culture transformation.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage a diverse stakeholder group
  • The ability to influence and lead through change in a sophisticated, matrixed environment.
  • A passion for inclusion, innovation, and unlocking the potential of people.
  • Experience working across geographically dispersed teams, including international teams and managing third party vendors.
  • Knowledge of working with emerging technologies such as AI to drive transformative change
