- Assess and process end-to-end vetting applications, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Liaise with applicants, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to gather and verify information.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-reasoned case notes to support case progression or closure.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with data protection regulations, managed across various case management systems.
- Handle aftercare activities in line with UKSV policies.
- Provide a consistent and high level of customer service, offering advice and guidance on vetting matters to candidates, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key security personnel, HR teams and the People Hub in Bangalore.
- Mentor and train new team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of vetting processes and procedures.
- Highly organised and adaptable to shifting priorities. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident engaging with stakeholders.

- Experience in a vetting, compliance, HR, or investigative role.
- Understanding of national vetting standards and security clearance processes.
- Relevant qualifications in security, law, or public administration (desirable but not essential).
