You will be supporting pupils across a range of year groups and subjects within the primary curriculum, helping to raise attainment and engagement. The school particularly welcomes graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and are looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Key Details:
- Role: SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
- Start Date: September 2025
- Duration: Until July 2026 (with potential to extend)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:20am-3:20pm
- Setting: Mainstream Primary School
- Focus: Classroom support, 1:1 and small group interventions
β A recent graduate with a 2:2 degree or above
β Some experience working with children or young people
β A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
β Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this)Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply)
- Two professional, child-related references
