Responsible for programme delivery including health & safety, commercial performance, contract programming, delivery and installation, sub-contract management, risk management and customer satisfaction.Main Duties/Responsibilities:· Planning and Organisation of all projects under the responsibility of the Contracts Manager.· Planning and management of each projects resource requirements.· Ensure that all site management and operatives are familiar with the individual specifics of each project.· Ensure that effective communication is in place internally between the client, (meetings, reports) and company staff to maintain good working practices.· Ensure at all times Health, Safety and Environmental standards are enforced and fully understood and implemented by site-based management and operatives.· Monitor build programme performance against plan and take remedial action when required.· Ordering and monitoring of materials to site is conjunction with contracts stock management team.· Provide support to SHEQ advisor while ensuring compliance is maintained through site visits and the completion of SHEQ and monitoring inspections.· Support workplace and road traffic accident and environmental incident investigations.· Review /analyse data in respect of site inspections and incidents to provide advice to and support to other employees and staff.· Undertake the completion of relevant documentation with support of competent persons i.e. risk assessments, method statements, policies and procedures to ensure that company is not only compliant but adapting best practice and continually improving its SHEQ performance.· Plan coordinate and chair any meetings in line with the role.· Provide general support and advise on all project related matters both reactively and proactively.
