Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a well-known recycling firm in their search for HGV Mechanic to work from their Bodelwyddan-based facility.For the successful HGV Mechanic our client is offering:

Up to £17.59 per hour
Monday - Friday days (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Temp to perm , immediate start available
Free car park

The Role of the HGV Mechanic will include:

Maintain in compliance with both Ministry of Transport and Certificate of Professional Competence (Operators License) the counties operational fleet of vehicles,
Attend on breakdowns and repairs at both the operational depots or anywhere within the county boundaries
Undertake regular servicing of vehicles and plant along with the repair of vehicles and plant as required
Ensure all works undertaken on the client fleet meet with the requirement of the operational licence issued by the Ministry of Transport.
Ensure that the workshops and all facilities are maintained in accordance with PUWER regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act
Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance inspections on HGV vehicles & trailers
Identifying faults on customers trailers and carrying out repairs to the highest possible standards
Mechanical fitting & maintenance work
Diagnostics and repairing of Hydraulics
