For more information, please visit solera.com.The RoleThe Database Administrator (DBA) Is a critical role for day-to-day operations on maintaining and updating the database and ensuring all client requests can be delivered within the service level agreements (SLAs) that are in place.What You’ll DoFulfil day-to-day client and CSM requests that require direct updates and interventions within the database environmentCleanse and prepare large volumes of client data, ensuring consistency, validity, and readiness for system integrationMaintain and update key driver records, including additions, deletions and modificationsReformat and align incoming datasets to match internal outline and spreadsheet structures, ensuring compliance with expected formatting protocolsPlumb in eLearning modules and translations content into VRM system, ensuring accurate data linkage and accessibilityProduce monthly analytics reports for CSMsMonitor and troubleshoot cron jobs, addressing failures to ensure critical scripts and automations run successfully and on timeRun data refreshes for clients across weekly, monthly and ad hoc cycles based on unique and customized client specificationsDiagnose and resolve low level database issues, conduct routine backups, maintain database security, address potential data breach exposures, configure environments and perform core file maintenanceApply client specific Privacy NoticesManage duplicate override requests sent by the MVR teamWhat You’ll BringA strong foundation in Data AdministrationAbility to operate in a high-volume, client facing environmentPrevious experience in a heavy data handling role, ideally within Database or System AdministrationExceptional attention to detail, ensuring high data accuracy and minimal errorsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to function independently while also supporting team work flowsProven organisational and coordination capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks while tracking progress and ensuring accountabilityHigh IT literacy and solid understanding of relational databasesHands-on experience using Microsoft Office applications, highly proficient with ExcelDemonstrated success in writing and executing SQL QueriesBasic to intermediate experience in PHP or a strong willingness to learn to support automation and scripting need
