Vision for Education are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants within the Cardigan area to support children aged between 7-11 in school based settings. The role is varied and will involve supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis starting immediately on a part and full time basis. As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support pupils with classroom based activities and outdoor play. Whilst these placements are intended for Key Stage 2 classes, there may be occasions where you will be required to support within the Foundation Phase. We will prioritise Teaching Assistant placements within the Cardigan area, however if you wish to travel further afield this can be discussed at registration.Requirements:The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
  • Recent experience supporting primary aged children with a particular focus on Key Stage 2
  • A patient and caring nature
  • The ability to engage students
  • The ability to work closely with the class teacher and other staff members within the class.
