Are you the right person for the job?
  • Preferably City & Guilds 2377, but not essential as in-house training is provided
  • Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Driving Licence and own transport
  • A professional approach
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
What will your role look like?
  • Conduct visual inspections of appliances
  • Perform electrical testing to ensure each item is safe to use
  • Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary
  • Microwave Emission Testing
  • Complete and submit paperwork as agreed
  • Manage Appliance Testing in accordance with health and safety requirements
  • You will be paid at a test rate per appliance
