We're looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Rochdale, supporting pupils aged 3-11 with a range of additional needs including autism, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments.   • Supporting pupils in class and during individual or small group work
  • Helping children with personal care where needed (training and guidance provided)
  • Using positive behaviour strategies (Team Teach training is a bonus!)
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Celebrating small wins and helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
What We're Looking For
  • Some experience working with children with additional needs (in a school setting)
  • A calm, caring, and positive attitude
  • Willingness to assist with personal care routines
  • Proof of Right to Work
  • Proof of Address
  • An enhanced DBS (or be happy to get one)
  • References from the last two years (including one school-based)
