The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.Start date: 8th SeptemberRate of pay: £12.65Duration: Up to 25/01/26Hours of work: 37Key Responsibilities:Collect mail from Royal Mail and Courier deliveries.Open and sort mail in accordance with DfC guidelines and procedures.Identify valuables and log appropriately.Prepare mail for scanning which involves: removing spines, metal attachments and using electronic guillotine.Perform maintenance on scan equipment - daily / weekly - to agreed schedule.Scan mail to agreed standards.Perform re-scan duties where appropriatePerform batch header and NINO validation.Verify NINOs in CIS/Searchlight as required.Essential Criteria applicants must have:
2 GCSE's – maths and English (Proof of certs required)
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
