If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.As the Site Leader of our Technical Centre, based in Hazelwood, Derbyshire, you will be a senior leader of our matrixed organization. You will ensure the efficient delivery of site services and be responsible for managing a range of support functions, driving operational excellence, and providing high-quality services to enable smooth site operations.What You Will Do:
- Site Services Management: Develop and implement site services strategies and plans to support efficient operations on the site. Lead a management team of functions including Facilities Management, Health & Safety, Quality, Administration, and related services.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Collaborate with Facilities Management, Finance, and Technical Leadership teams to develop and manage site services and capital project budgets. Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives for efficiency improvements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to site services. Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices, leverage technology, and streamline processes to optimize service delivery. Foster a culture of innovation and encourage employee engagement in process improvement efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with site leaders, cross-functional teams, industry contacts and local neighbor councils to align strategies, improve service, and address concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a technical field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience in site services management within the specialty chemical manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of site services operations, vendor management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address complex issues. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial principles. Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs within site services. Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with site leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within specified timelines. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
