About the RoleA global leader in the trading of agricultural commodities is embarking on a multi-year transformation of its finance function. This programme aims to unify systems, processes, and reporting across more than 40 markets, improving efficiency, decision-making speed, and financial control.We are seeking a Finance Transformation Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of technology-enabled finance change initiatives. The role involves partnering with finance, IT, operations, and senior leadership teams to deliver consistent processes, robust data governance, and modern finance technology solutions.You will be responsible for taking transformation projects from concept to post-implementation review, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard — while embedding lasting change across a diverse, international business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Process & Operating ModelAnalyse and map existing finance processes across multiple regions and commoditiesIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies, recommending standardised best practicesAlign processes to a global finance operating model to improve control and scalabilityTechnology Implementation & IntegrationLead global ERP and finance system deployments (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Integrate reporting, master data management, and automation tools to streamline workflowsCollaborate with IT to ensure technical solutions align with business needs and data requirementsMaster Data & ReportingDefine and implement a global master data governance frameworkImprove reporting structures and analytics capability for real-time decision-makingEnsure data integrity across multiple systems and jurisdictionsProgramme Management & GovernanceBuild and manage project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and timelinesEstablish governance forums and provide regular updates to senior stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulationsChange Management & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with business leaders to build buy-in and secure adoption of new processes and systemsProvide training and communication plans to embed change at all levelsFoster cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and ITSkills & Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 7 years’ experience in finance transformation, ERP programme management, or similarStrong knowledge of finance processes within commodities trading or a related sectorProven track record leading multi-country ERP implementationsFamiliarity with master data governance, process automation, and financial reporting toolsProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively across cultures and time zones
