- Relevant MPharm or equivalent professional permitting qualification as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy Practice (PGCert, MSc or equivalent)
- Member of relevant professional groups (RPS, UKCPA)
- Project management qualification or relevant experience
- Leadership or management qualification (or underpinning knowledge)
- Experience of working with clinical specialities that actively rely on homecare services to provide medicines to patients
- Knowledge of the homecare commissioning landscape and how homecare services support NHS care
- Knowledge of the wider NHS landscape and how introduction of ICBs / ICS structures influence service design and delivery
- Evidence of leading successful project and / or operational performance and improvement; including business case preparation, service initiation / commissioning, contract negotiation, and the development and monitoring of output and outcome measures.
- Experience of managing organisational change and re-designing services.
- Extensive project management experience in large complex organisations, including design, development, implementation and management of change in a multiple stakeholder environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Ability to provide highly complex information to all levels of healthcare professionals
- Ability to use data to inform any change to practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, using a variety of mediums (written, spoken and digital technology)
- Able to compile and present a business case to support service / team development
- Able to demonstrate innovation
