- Manage projects through the full lifecycle using the four pillars of project management: Plan, Organise, Lead & Control.
- Maintain financial and contractual control of projects, ensuring the company’s interests are protected at all times.
- Accurately forecast, monitor, and report on costs, value, and profitability.
- Ensure all estimating and cost build-ups are robust at proposal stage.
- Proactively manage budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver within agreed parameters.
- Work collaboratively with programming and logistics teams to meet project requirements.
- Administer NEC4 contracts, including compensation event submissions and contract compliance.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, resolving commercial or contractual issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and management systems.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance operational and financial priorities.
- Proficient in project management systems, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and respond to operational, contractual, and financial data.
- Skilled in negotiation and resolution of contentious issues.
- Proven ability to manage risks and deliver successful outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Degree in a Technical or Construction discipline preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the water or infrastructure sector.
