Role: Software Deployment EngineerLocation: ManchesterSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for a skilled Software Deployment Engineer to configure, deploy, and optimise enterprise-level software solutions for clients across multiple industries. This hybrid role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work directly with end-users to deliver tangible operational improvements.Responsibilities:
  • Configure software to meet specific client requirements
  • Optimise system performance through fine-tuning and calibration
  • Deploy enterprise-level applications and manage updates
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing optimisation support
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and processes
  • Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients
  • Host discovery meetings to understand operational needs
  • Deliver presentations and demos to communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Build strong relationships to drive satisfaction and maximise ROI
  • Develop engaging e-learning materials and training content
  • Deliver user training both remotely and on-site
  • Provide ongoing support to encourage full system adoption
Experience and Certifications Required:
  • Strong background in software configuration and system optimisation
  • Experience in technical services or customer-facing technical roles
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills
  • Confident communicator with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exposure to SQL or database querying - desirable
  • Background in risk management, loss prevention, or security systems - desirable
  • Experience with enterprise software deployment - desirable
  • Ability to integrate AI tools into problem-solving processes - desirable
