Your role will involve providing both 1:1 and group support, and fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for the children. - Provide 1:1 and group support within the nursery setting, encouraging positive learning and social interactions.
- Assist with nappy changing and personal care, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Support children in developing essential skills through structured play and activities.
- Help to create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the overall learning objectives.
- Implement strategies to enhance children’s confidence and independence.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years or Nursery setting.
- Confidence in providing nappy changing and personal care support.
- A nurturing and patient personality, with a passion for early childhood development.
- Ability to deliver 1:1 support and facilitate small group activities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively alongside staff members.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
