- Provide strong leadership and direction to site teams, ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.
- Manage daily site operations, including earthworks, deep drainage installation, and road construction.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards - promoting a culture of Zero Harm.
- Oversee quality assurance, handover documentation, and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor productivity, setting KPIs and reviewing performance with the team.
- Manage subcontractor performance, costs, and commercial aspects in line with project budgets.
- Lead risk reviews and ensure accurate reporting on progress and issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project management teams.
- Proven experience as a Site Agent (or Sub Agent ready to step up) within UK civil engineering.
- Strong background in earthworks, deep drainage, and road construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills, able to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and a valid UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial awareness.
- Ability to analyse programmes and adjust delivery strategies to maintain targets.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Chartered or working towards professional accreditation (ICE, IHT, etc.).
- Experience in pavement reconstruction and surfacing operations.
- Be part of a high-profile project shaping Aberdeen's infrastructure.
