Due to an increase in the demand for Phlebotomy appointments Walnut Tree Health Centre are looking to employ a phlebotomist to undertake ad-hoc clinics as a bank member of staff.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work under direct supervision of the practice nurse team and will be accountable to the Management Team and Partners, following specific practice guidelines and protocols at all times. The post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients that have been booked directly into their clinical appointments.About usWalnut Tree Health Centre is a very friendly, busy GP Surgery based in Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes and serves a population of approx. 14,500 patients with a mixed demographic. Practice nursing team including chronic disease management, health screening and treatment room services

A management and admin team providing comprehensive care and support
Variety of trainees including F2, ST1/2&3 and student nurse
