Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer (XYZ 3-Axis - Siemens Controls)
Location: Peterlee
Salary: £35,490
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM
Holidays: 23 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
Overtime: Overtime availableJob Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Peterlee. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in programming and operating XYZ 3-axis milling machines using Siemens controls.Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set and operate XYZ 3-axis CNC milling machines using Siemens controls
  • Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
  • Carry out first-off inspections to ensure components meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller with programming capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens controls
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
