We're here to help them make significant decisions with confidence, provide strong foundations for the future and guide them towards their goals.Job DescriptionJob PurposeWe're seeking a talented Financial Planner to join our Financial Planning team in Edinburgh.You will have the opportunity to build on existing relationships and will also be expected to develop new business, as well as work closely and collaboratively with our Investment Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Edinburgh team if you are looking for a position which requires both servicing of existing clients and the opportunity to build your own client book.As a Financial Planner your responsibilities will include among others
  • Actively develop new business and service existing business with HNW individuals
  • Building on existing client relationships through effective ongoing service to help minimise attrition.
  • Ensure client files are carefully maintained with client details regulary updated where needed
  • To ensure client reviews are undertaken at least annually in line with clients' changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements.
  • To work in partnership with Investment Management (IM) colleagues to develop client relationships.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Hold a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
  • Experience of developing existing/new business
  • Experience of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Real passion for providing a first-class service to clients
