📆 Duration: Three months initially, with view to extendAre you an experienced and motivated pharmacist with a passion for oncology? We are looking for a skilled Band 7 Pharmacist to join our specialist team and support the safe, effective delivery of cancer services.About the RoleAs a key member of our oncology pharmacy team, you will:
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy input to oncology and haematology services.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
- Support the safe prescribing, preparation, and administration of systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT).
- Lead on clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiatives within oncology.
- Act as a mentor for junior pharmacists and contribute to staff development.
✔ NHS oncology pharmacy experience
✔ Proven experience with ChemoCare prescribing system
✔ Completed SACT Passport (mandatory)
✔ Strong clinical knowledge of systemic anti-cancer therapies
✔ Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
