As an AWS Senior/Lead Application Development Architect at EPAM, you will be expected to play a pivotal role in shaping our application modernization strategy while providing sophisticated technical solutions to complex problems. Now is the time to lead this transformative journey at EPAM!ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design and deliver high-quality solutions for application modernization leveraging AI in collaboration with our application and infrastructure teams by partnering with stakeholders across the organizationProvide technical direction and oversee the software development process to ensure efficiency and robustness of the solutionEngage in pre-sales activities including customer meetings, solution presentations, and participating in proposal and bild GTM offerings as neededConduct proof of concept (PoC) exercises and present innovative ideas for improvementsLead the design and deployment on AWS platform ensuring scalability, availability and fault toleranceProvide guidance on application and integration best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, with focus on both functional and non-functional requirementsPerform product analysis including cost/benefit trade-off analysis, feasibility study, etc., to align with client's business requirementsInnovate and design solutions that accelerate decision making, reduce time to market, enhance developer productivity by leveraging GenAIFoster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in GenAI, encouraging team members to stay up to date with the latest developments and best practicesRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar fieldExtensive experience in software development and architecture leveraging AWS technologiesExperience with serverless, event driven architecture, domain driven design, API's and microservice architecturesExpertise in design, dev and operations of large-scale systems, complex applications in AWS CloudProven experience in pre-sales activities in a software companyProficiency in DevOps, IaC (Infrastructure as a code), experience with cloud migrations and modernization. Bring in AI as seen neededProficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, .NET, etc.AWS Professional certification is preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer orientation and presentation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel for client meetings and presentations minimum 25%We offer/Benefits
