  • Educated to GCSE standard in both English and Maths
  • Experience in logistics and customer service provision desirable
  • Numerate, good communicator, team player and able to resolve problems
  • Ability to respect strict deadlines and prioritise with good attention to detail
  • IT literate, experience of SAP a bonus
Activities
  • Receiving and processing customer orders and enter into SAP and making outbound calls, as required
  • Liaising with haulier for optimal delivery and customer service performance
  • Addressing specific documentation requests and customer service concerns, including formal complaints - and record quality / delivery deficiencies impacting customer satisfaction, service/complaint follow-ups and surveys
  • Troubleshooting haulier deliveries.
  • Daily review of haulier resource and planning.
  • Maintaining relevant databases and use of CRM system, including for near miss reporting and follow-up
  • Provide general support to the Commercial department
  • Identifying process improvements
  • Performing general administrative duties
Context & EnvironmentA key role in a B2B environment, liaising with clients and internal departments to effect the seamless delivery of the order book. TotalEnergies supplies two headline markets: Road construction and maintenance as well as various Industrial activities. Customers include major quarry operators, private asphalt producers, industrial manufacturers, emulsion producers and end-customers in addition to local and national government authorities.
