This role involves transporting goods between Boots in Beeston, Nottingham and distribution centres across the country. Full time contracts cover a 5 out of 7 working shift pattern. Part time hours range from 1 shift per week up to 4, with overtime available.   • Operate HGV Class C+E vehicles for trunking routes between hubs.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to all road safety and compliance regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with our transport team.
  • Handballing may be required on certain routes.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
  • You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
