What you will do:- Provide senior-level physiotherapy services, assessing and implementing personalised care programs to optimized service users’ independence and physical functionalities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised rehabilitation plans using advanced investigative and analytical skills.
- Advocate for service user choice in clinical practices, ensuring a supportive environment where raising concerns and feedback is welcomed.
- Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to plan and deliver comprehensive occupational therapy.
- Manage the prescription, provision, and maintenance of essential equipment, ensuring resources are efficiently utilized.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date written and electronic records in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Offer clinical leadership and promote effective supervision, sharing knowledge through both formal and informal teaching initiatives.
- Lead the local training programme for staff to enhance physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care plans.
- Ensure a safe working environment while maintaining confidentiality, occasionally taking on additional tasks to facilitate smooth operations.About You:To excel in this role, you’ll require a Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy and maintain current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council. Demonstrable experience in neurology, stroke care or managing head injuries is essential, along with evidence of continued professional development.
