- Responsible for all aspects of project performance, service delivery and safety management systems by providing effective planning, budget, time and quality controls.
- Support of the bid and tender development processes.
- Provide visible, pro-active HS&E leadership, ensuring that all HS&E policies and processes are followed, including any necessary client-specific requirements in particular, ensure that stated requirements for incident reporting, task risk assessment and safe methods of work are followed.
- Plan all aspects of contract compliance and management to include change control, contract variations and actively seek to develop opportunities with the client.
- Manage and control the production schedules, leading on risks and issues for projects
- Be conversant with the contract and commercial aspects. Control of production processes.
- Responsible for a portfolio of projects i.e. jackets, barges, steel structures.
- Management, control and delivery of assigned projects in accordance with Company systems.
- Line management responsibility, coaching and support to the operational management team by managing and supporting the teams effectiveness and taking corrective action in line with relevant processes.
- Conduct regular project and contract reviews, regularly reporting the project status internally and externally under the terms of contracts concluding with a formal project close out.
- Manage operational team budgets.
- Engage with maintenance departments to minimize downtime across the yard
- Strong experience in fabrication/engineering, to include a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale operations, preferably in [steel/metal fabrication, heavy engineering, or related industry].
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies.
- Solid understanding of HSE regulations and compliance in a fabrication environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
