
Support Worker - Royal Wootton Bassett

- To support the emotional, spiritual, physical, medical wellbeing and the material needs of the individual within their own home.
- To work collectively with the staff team to support individuals with complex communication needs and a range of physical and learning difficulties, promoting positive communication to enable the individual to achieve their hopes, goals and aspirations, maximising the individual’s quality of life and minimising their behaviours of concern.
- To be responsible in the delivery of high-quality care and support, based upon the individual personalised support plans, promoting independence, choice and enhancing inclusion in the community.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a care-related role is essential.
- Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care
- Knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours of concern would be advantageous
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection guidelines
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Driving licence is an essential requirement
