ABC Teachers is currently recruiting dedicated professionals to join our thriving secondary school network.About the roleWe are looking for confident, classroom-ready Cover Supervisors who can step into a variety of secondary school settings and maintain excellent behaviour management while delivering pre-set lesson plans. If you’re passionate about supporting students’ learning and want flexible, consistent work in the Telford area, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure a safe, productive learning environment.
  • Uphold school behaviour policies and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.

  • Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting or experience of working with groups of children, being in sole control
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A passion for education and a flexible, proactive attitude.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting, or experience of working with groups of children, being in sole control
