
Direct Sourcing Lead - Supplier Performance Management

- Plan and execute supplier performance improvement projects based on requests and inputs from Business Unit Sourcing leadership (incl. projects on supplier premises).
- Apply select Lean, Danaher Business System (DBS) and sourcing tools or methods to improve supplier performance with impact on capacity, On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead-times, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), inventory and other relevant factors.
- Provide tools, improvement methods and supplier-related insights into sourcing strategy development and execution at the assigned sites.
- Support sourcing or category leaders in the preparation of supplier negotiations.
- Coach Cytiva and supplier resources in the application and sustainment of select Lean, DBS and sourcing tools as beneficial to improve supplier performance.
- Communicate the results of supplier improvement projects to Cytiva stakeholders and archives project documentation.
- Implement best practices and develop supplier performance management tools, methods, Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and strategies in-line with Cytiva’s priorities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Procurement / Sourcing / Supply Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Advanced knowledge in select DBS or Lean tools (e.g. Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, DBS@Supplier, Danaher Materials System) which are relevant to improve supplier performance. Certification in one or multiple DBS tools a plus.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Multiple years of working experience in complex supply chains and with international suppliers, ideally including problem-solving and continuous improvement projects targeting supplier capacity, OTD, lead-time, TCO and inventory improvements.
- Experience in working in a matrix organization and proven track record of achieving results as a member or leader of multi-functional teams.
- Ability to perform in a virtual team environment, at remote locations (including supplier sites) and on global level.
- Advanced knowledge in supplier performance management tools and practices.
- International travel and work in global team settings and with international suppliers.
