Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering company in their search for a Coded TIG Welder to work in BirkenheadJob Role: The Coded TIG Welder will carry out TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel pipes to facilitate repairs on piping systems. Duties include pipe assembly, fabrication and TIG welding on 2 to 10 inch carbon and stainless pipes predominantly within a fabrication workshop, with occasional local site work required. The role involves welding in the 6G position on various pipe sizes.Job Details:
  • Pay: £20 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm
  • Duration: Temp to Perm position
  • Benefits: Permanent role available after suitable qualifying period
  • Benefits: Plenty of overtime available
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • TIG welding 2 inch carbon and stainless pipe in the 6G position
  • UK driving licence
  • Current or expired TIG coding's
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Pipe fabrication experience
Essential Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar in a welding engineering discipline
  • Full UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications:
  • In date CCNSG card
