SEN TutorSalary:£25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and social development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and resources
Education:Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with SEN studentsKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN legislation and policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Patience and empathy towards students with diverse learning requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience working in a variety of educational settings
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work closely with students, teachers, and parents
  • Varied working environments including classrooms, resource rooms, and individual support sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
