Position: CNC Programmer - Turning
Location: Cinderford
Permanent | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Shift AllowanceI'm working with a well-established precision engineering company in Cinderford who are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer - Turner to join their team. This role offers variety, great benefits, and the chance to work on exciting projects using Fanuc-controlled horizontal and vertical turning machines.The Role:
  • Set, program, and operate CNC lathes with a range of Fanuc controls
  • Produce small to medium components in cast iron, duplex stainless steel, and bronze
  • Handle both castings and billet work
  • Maintain precision and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively in a busy engineering environment
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Apprenticeship-trained CNC Turner (or equivalent experience)
  • Confident with Fanuc controls
  • Skilled in working to tight tolerances
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to develop skills (training available)
Shift Pattern (Double Day):
  • Week 1: Mon-Fri | 06:00 - 14:00
  • Week 2: Mon-Thu | 14:00 - 22:00, Fri 06:00 - 14:00
