We are looking to recruit further Bank HR Investigation Officers to support employee relations investigations within the Trust . We are looking for individuals who have the experience and skills within this area to work closely with the HR Operational Team to undertake a range of employee relations investigations, including disciplinary, grievance and bullying and harassment on behalf of Trust Managers.The role will involve liaison with senior managers within the Trust as well as the HR Operational Team to establish the investigation terms of reference and interviewing witnesses to incidents of alleged misconduct etc. Thereafter you will produce a comprehensive report with recommendations and, where applicable, attend formal hearings to present your findings.Main duties of the jobOnce commissioned, you must be able to commit to a strict timetable, which will result in investigations being concluded within a maximum of 4 weeks.The ability to communicate complex and at times highly sensitive information, extracting information to produce high quality investigation reports is critical; as is the ability to sensitively handle issues of conflict during the investigation process and seek assistance from the commissioning manager/HR where there are potential delays, issues of concern etc.About usWe are an award winning and CQC rated good health and social care Trust delivering integrated services across Hull, East and North Yorkshire.   • Masters Degree level (or equivalent experience) plus additional specialist knowledge of a particular area of work e.g. HR, Finance, Performance, Clinical/Nursing expertise.
  • Knowledge of HR policy & processes relating to employee relations issues e.g. Disciplinary; Grievance & Bullying & Harassment/Dignity at Work & Discrimination.
Knowledge and ExperienceEssential
  • Producing & presenting detailed reports to Senior Management/Boards on highly complex and/or contentious matters.
Desirable
  • Undertaking investigations/inquiries in complex healthcare (public sector) organisations.
Skills, Competencies and Personal QualitiesEssential
  • Good time management skills i.e. proven track record of completing work tasks on time.
  • Able to work on own initiative, self-motivated with excellent people management skills
