- Ensure adherence & compliance to all Company & regulatory policies and procedures, with prime focus on a safe working environment
- Build and lead an effective operational team, including recruitment, training, coaching and developing, and performance reviews
- Drive Quality and Continual Improvement in line with our Brose Production System and the Company's mission, vision and strategic goals
- Plan and execute budgets, monitor and drive Key Performance Indicators and improve the enablers to drive results, for all aspects of the business, including year-on- year cost reductions
- Liaise and develop close working relationships with customers & suppliers and working with our Customer
- Teams, both locally and in the Headquarters, ensuring effective and controlled change management including new program introduction.
- Capacity planning, monitoring and bottle neck management for all resources; manpower, machines, methods and materials
- 0-2 years' experience in a Quality or Production
- Engineering role, plus 3 years leading a team in Operations or Logistics management
- Degree standard in Production or engineering discipline
- Project management and implementation of new products
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques gained within the automotive industry (Lean / TPS)
- Comprehensive knowledge of production planning and control
- Evidence of leadership and team building skills
- Good communication / inter-personal skills. Systematic, methodical, problem solver, must be able to operate independently and make sound business decisions.
