- Identify opportunities to leverage legal developments, legal trends and regulatory changes to market the firm's services to clients, tailoring content to analyse the legal and practical impact of such developments for those clients
- Write and lead on the distribution of technical legal content
- Devise and support on the delivery of non-technical marketing content
- Provide strategic input on directory submissions to enhance the reputation of the firm's work and its lawyers
- Attend internal and client strategy meetings designed to manage client relationships.
- Play a leading role in the organisation of client-facing events
- Provide strategic input and direction on the preparation of pitches
- Support alignment between local, regional and global business development and knowledge strategy
- Promote the wider utilization of knowledge and business development tools and processes within the Group
- Strong academic credentials
- Admitted in a common law jurisdiction
- Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) and the confidence to communicate and present well in a multi-cultural, multi-level matrix environment
- Excellent time management and organizing skills
- Innovative and client-focused in the use of delivery media
- Strong word processing, spreadsheet and presentation skills
- Strong legal research and excellent legal drafting skills
- Able to present information concisely and professionally
- Self-starter who is able to demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude to their work
- Consistently produces quality work and pays close attention to detail
- Ability to work with remote supervision as part of a dispersed team
- Able to multi-task and work on a variety of projects at the same time
- Keen to learn and develop, demonstrating enthusiasm and dedication

Laila has almost 20 years' experience in the legal recruitment sector, working across different areas of legal practice. She began her career with an award-winning City boutique legal search firm, working with Adam on partner level searches for individual and annually retained clients.
Laila has focused on litigation recruitment since 2017, she joined Auston Legal in March 2020 to focus solely on the insurance sector.
Laila read Law and History at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and completed her LLM with SOAS and King's College London in 2004.George Molyneux Buckley
After graduating with a 1st Class Law degree, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and spending almost 10 years as an insurance lawyer, George moved into legal recruitment. He has since established himself as the only specialist recruiter of commercial insurance lawyers across the North and the Midlands.
In line with his growing reputation, George was shortlisted for Recruitment/Talent Professional of the Year at the 2022 'Made in Manchester' Awards.
George has assisted in moves at all levels of seniority, at both Solicitor and Partner level. Whilst he is known for his work in professional indemnity and property damage, he is experienced in all areas of non-injury insurance recruitment.
