Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor (English and/or Maths)Location: CramlingtonPay: Up to £35 per hour (depending on group size and school/learner needs)Are you passionate about helping learners build confidence and essential skills in English and/or Maths? We’re looking for a dedicated English/Math GCSE Tutor to support learners across Northumberland.Key Duties:
  • Deliver engaging GCSE lessons in English and/or Maths.
  • Work with learners in schools or alternative settings, either one-to-one or in small groups.
  • Adapt sessions to suit individual learning needs and levels.
  • Track learner progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Help learners build confidence and work towards qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience delivering GCSE curriculum (English and/or Maths).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, supportive, and flexible in your approach.
  • Reliable and well-organised.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
