SOCIAL IMPACT CO-ORDINATORBand: Band 5 - Agenda for ChangeSalary: £31,049 - £37,796 per annum, pro rata (£18,629.40 - £22,677.60 per annum, actual)Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)Location: Base negotiable within CDS geography. Hybrid working supported. Occasional travel to Head Office (Sharnbrook) and CDS locations required.About the roleWe are pleased to offer an exciting internal opportunity to join the Communications Team as a Social Impact Co-ordinator. This new role will play a key part in helping CDS demonstrate the difference we make for our patients and communities through evidence-led storytelling, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.You will work across teams to gather, interpret, and present data that showcases our social impact. This includes supporting the development of simple data capture tools, maintaining a library of relevant policy documents, and monitoring key stakeholders and external developments.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys research and analysis, and is passionate about making a difference.Main duties of the jobWhat You'll Be Doing
  • Researching, analysing, and presenting CDS's social impact through reports and visual content
  • Using internal data systems to extract and interpret relevant information
  • Collaborating with operational teams to design and implement simple data capture tools (eg. surveys)
  • Maintaining a library of current dental policy and government announcements, providing executive summaries
  • Mapping and monitoring key stakeholders, including MPs and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)
  • Tracking changes in health and social care providers and commissioning structures
We're looking at someone who:
  • Has a degree or equivalent experience, with a strong standard of written English
  • Has experience gathering, interpreting, and presenting data
  • Is confident using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Has excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Can interrogate systems to obtain and analyse information
  • Has experience in communications, data capture, or reporting
  • Can build relationships across a multi-site clinical organisation
  • Is comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team
  • Is self-motivated, organised, and able to manage their own workload
  • Has strong interpersonal skills and is confident dealing with a range of stakeholders
Experience with SurveyMonkey or Microsoft Forms, Canva, and knowledge of the social value landscape or UK health policy would be an advantage, but not essential.About usWhat We Offer
