
Senior Service Technician

- Perform scheduled inspections and part replacements, including those on complex systems.
- Communicate site conditions and maintenance needs to customers and colleagues.
- Respond to urgent and non-urgent service calls, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Advise customers on service agreements, consumables, and modernization opportunities.
- Assess and follow up on customer needs for consumables during service visits.
- Oversee quality control, start-up, and adjustment of new installations.
- Train customer staff and complete handover protocols.
- Support offer preparation and customer visits for modernisation proposals
- Complete reports on the Company job management system on completion of the site visit.
- Communicate daily with the Service Account Managers, providing job updates including issues, remedial works and follow up duty of care plan where required.
- Carry out regular van checks to Company guidelines (regular audits to take place)
- Maintain van stock, tools, and equipment in serviceable condition.
- Attend and actively participate in regular team meetings.
- Participate in staff appraisals, skills matrix, and regular reviews.
- Attend necessary training courses, including site specific, to enhance skills and development.
- Installing equipment that complies with technical specifications
- Coordinating preventative maintenance
- Calibrating tools and test equipment
- Conducting field modifications
- Providing advanced troubleshooting for customers in the field
- Contributing to knowledge base in a timely manner to share problems and solutions with other Field Service Engineers
- Providing feedback, reports and analysis of field issues to product teams and service management
- Monitoring equipment performance to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- 5+ years of experience with broad theoretical knowledge and high technical expertise
- Hold a valid UK driving license.
- CSCS Card Holder
- EUSR Card Holder
- Technical knowledge of maintaining Water Treatment systems such as Softeners and Filters; RO, UV and Chemical Dosing systems.
- Experience of working extensively on sites within the UK and Europe.
- Experience with maintenance management and high level of execution standards.
- Technical educational background an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language.
- Proficient in English language
