Title: Senior Snowflake Data EngineerLocation: London (2-3 days on site)Salary: Up to £75,000 & Bonus!iO Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a fast-growing, next-generation technology consultancy delivering cutting-edge data, AI, and cloud solutions to high-profile clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, lead delivery squads, and develop your leadership skills while staying hands-on with modern data technologies.What You'll Do
  • Lead technical delivery of data engineering projects within client teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and plan delivery.
  • Build and optimise data pipelines, architectures, and workflows on cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Promote engineering excellence and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in data engineering, building and optimising large-scale cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong Snowflake expertise (Snowpipe, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, UDFs) - SnowPro certification desirable.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills for ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and performance optimisation.
  • Confident working directly with clients, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Leadership experience within delivery teams.
