Who we are looking forState Street Investment Management is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales & Sales Support AVP to work within the UK Intermediary sales team (Client Coverage Group) engaging with wealth managers, platforms, asset managers and other intermediary clients. The role holder must meet the criteria for an FCA Certified Role.Are you that person?The Sales & Sales Support AVP within State Street Investment Management’s UK Intermediary business, will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales function, facilitating the successful onboarding of our funds onto various platforms, managing contracts for complex investments, and responding to client requests and questionnaires. As part of our commitment to excellence, the role will also involve preparing sales campaign materials, analysing business successes, contributing to strategic planning, and, over time, cultivating direct client relationships. Some aspects of the role will necessitate the individual to take full responsibility for the end-to-end process e.g. platform onboarding whereas others will be part of a client coverage/deal team. Strong engagement and coordination with the relevant stakeholders is key to success for this role e.g. the broader EMEA Client Coverage Group (CCG) Organization, Investments, Operations, Legal, Compliance and other internal teams.To be successful, you will need to develop a thorough understanding of State Street Investment Management’s Operating model, Investment capabilities as well as our breadth of service offerings in the EMEA region. You will also partner with your colleagues in other regions and across our institutional client coverage group to ensure global consistency in our processes and to continuously improve the overall experience of our clients.This role is part of the Client Coverage Group and you will report to the Head of Intermediary Client Coverage – UK in London.What you will be responsible forLead the relationship with investment platforms, acting as primary contact to facilitate and streamline the onboarding of our range of funds. Your ability to build trust, navigate complex processes, and communicate clearly across stakeholders will be critical to delivering the highest standards of service and operational excellence.Project manage the onboarding of new investments which includes the end-to-end coordination across through KYC, contracting, fund/account setup, and funding. Your organisational skills and collaborative approach will be essential in delivering a seamless onboarding experience.For our larger clients, acting as primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring that queries and information needs are addressed promptly and thoroughly. By doing so, the successful candidate will support client confidence and uphold State Street's reputation for delivering outstanding service at every interaction.Crafting persuasive sales campaign emails that effectively showcase our investment funds, highlight their advantages over competitor offerings. You will collaborate with our investment specialists and client coverage teams along with our compliance team.You’ll also be responsible for analysing our client sales and third-party data of client holdings, extracting meaningful insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.Integral to your remit will be the preparation of strategic reviews and the development of strategic plans that not only assess business performance but also chart the course for future growth.In addition to contributing as a valued member of the coverage team of our larger clients, the individual will, over time, take proactive steps to cultivate their own portfolio of client relationships.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a demonstrable track record of successfully interacting, influencing and communicating at all levels.Proven understanding of project management disciplines, gained through practical experienceIntegrity to deal with conflicting interest from multiple stakeholders.Ability to work consistently and accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.Knowledge of UK intermediary clientsGood stakeholder management skillsExcellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.Tenacious and pro-activeTeam player but able to work independently where requiredFirst Degree or equivalentFCA certification and consistently keeping knowledge and competencies appropriate for future annual certificationsHigh Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the investment management industry
