The OpportunityWe are excited to be recruiting for a FP&A Manager. This is a permanent position and can be based in any of our three offices in Thirsk, North Yorkshire or Crick, Northamptonshire or Kinmel, WalesThe CompanyIPN is an innovative, well-established, and award-winning pet food manufacturer, employing over 850 people across our 4 UK manufacturing sites. Our family of brands include Harringtons, Wagg, Barking Heads & Meowing Heads, AATU, Blink, Butchers, Classic Cat and a selection of partner brands that trust us to produce food on their behalf. Our kitchens in Thirsk, Kinmel and Crick produce dry, wet, and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world.Role PurposeThe FP&A Manager is responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality Group performance reporting information, collaborating with a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver insight, shape performance and support decision-makingKey Accountabilities
  • Developing and continually improving budgeting and financial / operating forecasts
  • Analysing the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin
  • Monitoring KPIs and identifying the cause of unexpected variances
  • Support leadership teams throughout the business with data driven analysis
  • Weekly EBITDA Reporting
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience of working in an FMCG business preferable but must demonstrate experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
  • Factory or commercial based experience would be beneficial.
  • A positive, solution-orientated approach. A dynamic, agile, and quick-thinking mindset. Challenges the status quo, always looking for opportunities to raise the bar, in others and themselves
  • Exceptional communication skills to interface with a wide variety of audiences across the Group, including people with non-finance background
  • High level of integrity, make a strong positive impact and builds networks easily
  • Must be comfortable using advanced excel features and have a logical thought process.
  • Professional accountancy qualification preferable, as a minimum, must have a finance background.

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
