The Shipper is responsible for managing the despatch process of Finished Goods, Transfer Parts, and Return Goods to both customers and suppliers. Equally important is the adherence to OTD and Aerospace Regulations, including IATA Governance. Material movements around site and raise receivers. Authorised to release of dangerous goods, as per IATA Regulations Packing goods on picking lists following strict procedures Generating despatch and associated documentation Ensuring carrier selection is correct dependent on client / destination Internal liaison with department heads, Commercial, and P&L teams Lean materials management and understand lean principles Attend meetings and assist in setting priorities of team Acting upon information discussed and implemented during meetings Provide relevant and prescribed information to customers (non-sensitive) Pack and label parts for sub-contract Use of Carrier systems i.e. UPS, FedEx, DHL, Palletforce QA186 Certification (A Stamp) with reduced shipping screens Pin stamping of raw material. Barrier/Gate operation & security GCSE or equivalent Maths and English Ability to be flexible to meet business needs IT Literate - Microsoft office experience (Word/Excel, including ability to analyse data in MS Excel) Demonstrable experience of using a PC, including databases and MS Office packages Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal Proven high level of Attention to detail
