Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.The Role:Oxfam is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our e-Commerce Delivery Team. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design and deliver complex, custom-built enterprise cloud solutions that support Oxfam’s digital commerce initiatives.As a senior member of the team, you will lead on the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance web and integration solutions—ensuring they align with modern cloud architecture best practices. Your expertise will help shape solutions that are robust, resilient, and built with both functional and non-functional requirements in mind.You’ll work in partnership with teams across Oxfam’s Information Services (IS), Digital, and Architecture functions to ensure a cohesive, secure, and user-focused approach to system design and implementation.What we are looking for:We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
  • Ability to solve collaboratively complex problems, understanding of business processes (i.e. analysis and design).
  • Experience of being part of a team supporting enterprise systems, clear and concise communication with customers.
  • Strong experience developing with C#/.NET within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong experience of working with Web/REST APIs with demonstrable knowledge of design patterns and their practical relevance.
  • History of promoting good secure development, performance testing, unit testing, refactoring & test-driven development.
